The UN World Food Programme (WFP) is the United Nations
frontline agency against world hunger. It is the largest and longest serving
humanitarian agency in Uganda. Currently WFP focuses on three priority areas:

2. Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute
The Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute is a
tertiary institution fully owned by the Government of Uganda with a mission “To
produce a highly skilled and competent workforce for the National and
International tourism and hospitality industry”. Over the years, UHTTI has
established itself as a Center of Excellence in the fi eld of Hotel and Tourism
Training in line with its motto “Skills Excel”.

3. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF)
seeks to
end pediatric HIV/AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention
and treatment programs. We are a global leader in the fight against
pediatric HIV and AIDS, working in 15 countries and at 7,000 sites
around the world to prevent the transmission of HIV to children,
and to help those already infected. Today, because of the highly
successful work of the Foundation and its partners over the last 25 years,
pediatric AIDS has been virtually eliminated in the United States and new
infections in children have declined by 58% worldwide.
EGPAF Uganda Country program is currently implementing a number
of projects in partnership with various donors.

4. Yumbe District Local Government
Yumbe District was established in 2006 when Aringa County
was split off Arua District and renamed Yumbe District.The people in the
district are still suffering from the effects of the civil war, which lasted
about twenty years (1980–2000). The peace agreement between UNRF2 and the
Government of Uganda was signed in the year 2000 in Yumbe.
